The Adventure Begins Here Summer camp, year-round adventure programs, and travel programs for youth of all abilities and adults with developmental disabilities are what Sunnyhill Adventures is all about. We believe camp is not something you merely attend, but something you experience. It can change lives. In small ways — and in big ways. It can be a rock found on a hill climbed, a first lake swim at dawn, a burnt marshmallow beside a campfire, the chance to walk in the hushed silence of the forest, and most important, the smile of a new-found friend. It is an experience one never forgets ... [more] Lose the Training Wheels . . . Persons with Disabilities CAN Experience the Freedom of Riding a Two-Wheeler! Many persons with varied disabilities can become successful—even accomplished—bike riders if they have an opportunity to be taught properly. The Lose the Training Wheels program works with youngsters, and some adults, who, because of disabilities find it difficult—or even impossible—to ride a two-wheeler without having to use training wheels. During the week-long Lose the Training Wheels training camps almost 100 percent of those attending "lose the training wheels" and their fears of riding a two wheeler. Bringing Help and Hope to the Inner Cities of Minneapolis, Chicago, New York and Miami For many years Chris and Monica DeLaurentis have been living and working among the very needy peoples in inner-city Minneapolis.
