The organization that Global Assist partners with in Sudan has been in the nation for many years, working in the southern area. They have established a multi-acre compound close to Yei that includes several dormitories for orphaned children, as well as a school—that is also attended by local area children. The compound also has a clinic, with a full-time nurse, and housing for many widows who work and earn their living helping to care for the children.
GAN’s warehouse is currently filled with a container of product—which includes playground equipment (donated by a manufacturer in Michigan), school supplies, food, clothing, medical equipment and supplies, hygiene supplies and other miscellaneous items they have requested.

This organization has been asked by the government to duplicate their compound in at least four additional areas of south Sudan.
