Global Assist Network Provides a Way for
Orphan Medical Network International [OMNI] to
Ship Walk-Behind Tractor to Zambia

Orphan Medical Network International (OMNI) is a nonprofit organization that is devoted to sustained improvement in the lives of orphaned children through direct medical and educational attention to the child and his/her surrounding environment, in an atmosphere of faith and hope that is respectful to indigenous cultures. OMNI—which was founded by Karen ReMine, who continues to serve as its president—has been in existence for more than 15 years. In addition to other projects, ONMI is deeply involved in two village projects in Zambia. OMNI is building these villages to care for orphans who live in the bush areas where the new villages are located. Each village will be self-sustaining when complete.

Global Assist Network (GAN), through our Global Aid Shipping Network, was very pleased to be able to provide OMNI the help they needed to send a walk behind tractor to one of their self-sustaining village projects. GAN connected them with an organization in Ohio that had a shipment going to its project Zambia; OMNI was able to include the tractor in that organization's container.

Being able to provide logistical assistance and networking organizations to accomplish tasks enables GAN to fulfill its mission to provide assistance to other Christian nonprofits who need help to more efficiently and effectively fulfill their own missions.

Thank you, Karen and OMNI, for allowing GAN to work with you on this project! We look forward to a continued relationship with OMNI!
