In the United States and around the world there is a great need to transform societies and segments of societies that are plagued by poverty, violence, famine, disease, and ecological destruction. Thousands of organizations—large and small—work continuously to alleviate suffering and bring about transformational change to the lives of the millions in desperate need globally.
For more than 25 years the founders of Global Assist Network (GAN) worked worldwide in many capacities. They came to realize that Christians could accomplish much more if an effective system was developed that would allow the various Christian humanitarian and compassion organizations to promote and help each other and share ideas, information, and resources. To this end, GAN was formed.
Today we are develop a network that can communicate best practices, provide financial, human, and knowledge resources, help identify and eliminate duplication, and fill gaps in service. This network will very soon serve as a conduit for people and organizations from all walks of life—helping them pool their efforts and resources with existing, proven-effective programs—which will enable them to more efficiently accomplish greater results for the Kingdom.
We invite you to browse our site and return often for news about programs, network activities, and best practices from around the world. If your organization is not participating in the GAN network, we encourage you to join, helping us to promote synergy among Kingdom builders around the world.
